A little bit about us :
Abbeyfeale Golf Club, is a beautiful 9 hole parkland course set in the scenic South West Limerick countryside on the border with the golfing paradise of County Kerry and its famous links.
The Course at Abbeyfeale, founded in 1994, was designed by renowned Golf Course architect, Dr.Arthur Spring.
Dr. Spring achieved an excellent Parkland atmosphere, with Mature Trees, Rolling Fairways and well Contoured Greens.
The Course consists of 9 Holes, played from the inward and outward tees, making it an 18 hole experience.
Abbeyfeale is suitable for all Golfers.
Abbeyfeale Golf Club also offers an 20 Bay, Floodlit, Indoor Driving and 6 bay Outdoor, which was officially opened in May of 1992.

Tomorrow, at the golf club we have our annual 'COME&TRY NIGHT' .
If you've never played the game before, or indeed have and havent kept it up, then come along!!
PGA Professional Liam Duggan Ldgolf will greet our new ladies at 6.30pm, show you tips on the Driving Range, then we'll all head onto the course and play a FUNTASTIC scramble, refreshments & presentation will follow.
And its all just €5! Thats right! - only €5!
So go on take that first step..we cant wait to meet you all!

FUNDRAISER EVENING
Gents, Tonight ( May 24th ) we have an important night at the club. FUNDRAISER night for the IRISH MIXED FOURSOMES TEAM representing Abbeyfeale.
A 9hole singles comp with tea/coffee&sweet reception after. €10 pp. We so hope to see u all there in support for team 2012 who are all putting in tremendous work & time to represent our club.
7pm Draw :) Plus.. this weather is absolutely wonderful to be out in .. Enjoy gents!!

NCBI FOURSOMES
(National Councel for the Blind)
All this week ( May 20th - May 27th),
sees the Men try out for the NCBI
(National Council for the Blind, Ireland) Foursommes. Teams of 2 can choose to play at any time and any day this week bar Monday evening.
The winning team will go on to represent Abbeyfeale in further NCBI competitions throughout the country.

Irish Mixed Foursomes 2012 Abbeyfeale Golf Club have been drawn to play against Kanturk Golf Club on Saturday, 16th June at Old Ballybunion Golf Course. The teams will be mixed, consisting of 5 players on each side with 2 subs on each side. There are no handicap restrictions or limits, so we invite everyone to please try out. Trials for the Team will begin and be held up at the Golf Club on Tuesday 10th April at 7pm, where players will play in 2’s on the course. There is a training programme in place for our teams and will begin on Tuesday 17th April with resident PGA Professional Liam Duggan. Players will also receive training from TPI Instructor, Kevin McMahon.
